Position Summary Information

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience working in television.

General knowledge of production and programming.

License/Certification Required

Experience in supervision

Financial management/budgeting


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees a campus television channel that is a teaching and learning lab.
Oversees show development and programming.
Maintains commitment to on-air and online presence for the channel.
Oversees use of interactive platforms, including social media and online content.
Ensures professional behavior that meets community standards, and is ethical and legal.
Develops strategies for fundraising and development, and works with development officer on those strategies.
Performs outreach to supporters in local community and beyond.
Supervises student interns.
Maintains collaborative, collegial relationships with colleagues throughout the university.
Teach up to one course per semester.
